Ronald L. Rivest简介:

Ronald L. Rivest 1947年出生于美国纽约。

Rivest于1969年从耶鲁大学获得其数学学士学位，1974年从斯坦福大学获得其计算机科学的博士学位。

目前Rivest任职于MIT计算机系从事计算机理论的研究。除了RAS算法中R的巨大贡献之外，Rivest也是RC2, RC4,RC5,RC6的发明者。也是MD2，MD4和MD5加密哈希(Hash)函数的发明者。
