    openflow真得那么有价值吗？倒是那个NetFPGA10G的项目可能能提供40G网络设备的方案可供山寨厂学习

    初始想法简单优美，提出者不一定能够控制其发展、甚至其发展方向；好像即便是刚开始一坨，有钱人也有可能将其包装出来并且卖掉，然后不停的修改内容与形式，进而真的可以满足各种不同需求；

    Nick Mckeown好像被称作是路由器专家，那个iLsp的调度算法好像就是他在伯克利做博士的论文，而后这个算法被用在思科的路由器中

    openflow is a north-south protocol, it is important on its own for defining the forwarding behavior. The east-west protocol(s) is the SDN.

    It is very likely that openflow will be the de facto language control plane talk to forwarding plane in the future. And it will bring forth forwarding hardware’s new design to optimize openflow lookup.

    However, the beef seems to be in the control plane.
